March 25, 2004....9:26 a.m.
So the little things in life are what really count. Opening the doors for old people and young alike. Telling strangers hi. Waving at people in your neighborhood who you dont really even know. Hopefully in most cases you do those things because its the way you were raised, the way it ought to be and its just the right thing to do. If you havent been doing those things go ahead and try it out. Youll find that there are a lot of grateful people out there. All that I think anyone is looking for is someone to care. I think opening a door for someone is a way of saying that. As you walk down the street and you pass up someones driveway. Go ahead glance up and see if there is someone there, the sidewalk isnt going anywhere. Say hi. Even if its only in passing. I gurantee youll make a difference is someones life. The last thing is something that i found out a couple of years ago is mostly a texas thing. The random waving to people while driving on the road. Only in texas will you get waved at by perfect stranger heading no where in particular. So go ahead, become a little stranger ;) and wave at the next person you see. I bet they wave back, and if your lucky they may even smile. I think these things are the root of whats wrong in society right now. Not the actual acts but the principals behind them. Imagine if everyone followed these 3 simple tasks. Well thats enough for right now.

You gotta have faith, oooo you gotta have faith faith faith. Another good song from the 80s. Faith. It looks like things are trying to finally go my way in life right now. Ive had the chance to talk with a really wonderful person and i think that there is a lot of potential. Now if i could only have a little more tolerance in the rest of my life. Right now it seems as though every little thing is getting on my nerves. Male pms? perhaps. hehhehe. Im ready for a vacation i think. Sorry for waiting so long on this update. Just been pretty occupied. Hopefully things are gonna go well and things will payoff in the long run. Thats all we can hope for right? If anyone can find me some glasses like im wearing in the picture, i need them for riding my motorcycle. Later ;)

Ever wonder where things come from? I know i do. Like where did this guy come from and where did the other guy go? What happens is we all start putting on this thing called age. Every year we put another year and guess what Jenny Craig? There aint no diet to get rid of these damn things. Every year, put another tick on the wall of my cell, the box we call our lives. Theres only one way to not go insane watching the years tick by. Break out of the box. Live your life and by the time you notice your some 65 year old schlep you will have had too much fun to care. Dont spend every birthday wondering where all the others went. Spend it thinking what am i gonna do this year? Later Gator.

You've got to, kiss an angel good morning. Johnny Cash. What a

March 5, 2004....9:09 a.m.
Ok i lied. I found this one too. Wow the women all gonna drool :)
March 5, 2004....12:11 a.m.
I've been sitting here, trying to find myself. I get behind
myself...I need to rewind myself... I love to stop and listen to the music. You
know, when someone writes a song they are actually taking a pie
March 4, 2004....9:02 a.m. Its still raining. And my Ark is only half done. If this keeps up im going to have to take a few days off of work to complete it. Half the animals that are supposed to be ready to go are not, and the other half is complaining about the facilities. On the other hand. Its still raining. Our weather forecasters suck. I know i went to college for the wrong thing. Weather forecasting is about the only thing you can go to work every day, screw up, and still have a job the next day. What a bunch of idiots. I know. Ill put skis on the motorcycle and float to work. Supposed to go to the Chilly Willy Dice run in Conroe this weekend but the weather, she be not agreeing. I might just be stuck in V-town another weekend with nothing to do. Alas, tomorrow is Friday. I think ill have a big juicy steak :)
March 3, 2004....11:44 p.m.
What a day. The sun never came out. The clouds were dark and grey, yet somehow, someway. we made it through another dreary day. Where art thou oh yellow circle in the sky? I need you so i can go and ride. The urge to start, that motorcycle of mine, its insatiable, but not divine. ok...enough free Lance poetry for this month. Leap leap leap year. As we have mentioned before, the one thing this world is lacking is an abundance of True Friends. If you dont know what a true friend is i encourage you to read February 25ths entry or get Bill Oreillys book "Whos looking out for you". I am in desperate need of a long relaxing motorcycle ride. Anyone want to join me? Ill write more tomorrow. Im feeling a little punchy from the lack of sleep. Later.
February 26, 2004....8:12 a.m. Any day that you wake up has to be a good day right? I would say so if you consider the alternative. So go and hop in you SUV and fill her up to the top. Run your errands with your foot to the floor and if you happen to pause for more then a minute, stop at your local coffee shop for a Ultra Grande Latte. With extra Whipped Cream of course. (snap snap snap snap snap) Ok, enough of the beatnik stuff. Stock show starts up today, just finished speed building a computer yesterday to show and raffle off and still have a shop full of computers to work on. Can you say overwhelmed? That's not even mentioning the attempt to have any sort of social life at this moment. I'm not grumpy, just stating the facts :). In the end, there are a lot of people worse off then I am. Take the president, the guy goes to work everyday KNOWING that someone is going to jump his case no matter what he does. If he goes left, the people on the right complain. If he goes right, the people on the left throw a fit. And if he stays in the middle, everyone says that he isn't doing anything for our country. I would venture to say that the majority of the people in this country have never had a relevant experience in a leadership role. Give them the opportunity to be in charge for a few weeks and I think quite a few would realize that being a leader isn't all its cracked up to be. You can have the best laid plans in the world, the most perfect cabinet to help you and in the end it comes down to what everyone else says about your job. They are the ones who can make or break you. You may have just found the cure for cancer but if along the way you killed every spotted owl in the woods you would have people on your ass. I found a way to let us continue our way of life but we may get Alaska a little dirty... I say drill the sucker up. I'm not that fond of snow, but I AM fond of my V-8 Pickup Truck. So there ya go. Have a great day. Watch out for mister nice guy. He's the one with the agenda, the one that wants something. That's not for now though. Not right now anyways. Later. Later later.
February 25, 2004....8:32 a.m. Another day, another dollar. Jamming out to some Ike and Tina Turner (Proud Mary) and getting ready for the day. Im sure i have a stack of computers waiting for me at work and as the days wear on my memory is getting worse and worse (worser :P). Reading a pretty good book right now written by Bill OReilly. Its called "Whos looking out for you?". For those of you who dont know who Bill is, he hosts a couple of shows, The Radio Factor and The Factor on Fox News. He shares a lot of the views i do on modern politics and says what needs to be said. One of the things he says in his book (listen carefully) is that if YOU are not looking out for at LEAST 5 people in your life right now, i mean truly looking out for them, that you are in trouble. Because if you are not looking out for someone it more then likely means that they are NOT looking out for you. Pretty valid point eh? Kind of scary to. So todays word of the day is Friendship. Cultivate new ones and revive old ones. Dont forget to cut off the ones that arent a good influence in your life. Have a great "hump" day and remember, uhhh, I forget. Ill tell you. Not right now right now though. Later. Later later.
February 23, 2004....7:08 a.m. Aiyeeee! Mardi Gras baby! What a blast! Hanging out with your friends, eating boudin (boo-dan) , and listening to the best zaidaco music around. Thats my idea of how to spend a Sunday. Texas Radio 98.7 did a great job and I look forward to next years. Getting back to the daily grind, as we all do on Mondays, is always hard. Especially when you never really got a weekend to begin with. It will all pay off in the end (we hope) and a little pat on the back here or there never hurts. Thanks to everyone who helped on the float this past week. It turned out dawg gone good. Ill put some pictures up soon. Not right now right now though. Later. Later later.
February 22, 2004....12:05 a.m. What a deal. Almost 2 years since my last update... Thats
pretty pathetic if you ask me. Then again the rest of my life hasnt been going
all that well either. Pretty stagnate is what i guess you would say. I guess
what this is going to turn into is a sort of online journal (diaries are for
women). So here goes. Just got done with a hectic 4 days of last minute prep on
a political float (of the parade variety) for my boss. Who would have known that
i would be so multi talented? I was kind of hoping for best in show but i havent
heard anything yet (everyones gotta dream eh?). One more thing before i turn
in(to a pumpkin). Saxgod.com is now mine along
with saxgod.net. So no more confusion. Just remember
saxgod and youll get here. Oh yah. New pics.
